Julie Currie is an accomplished executive with broad global experience leading the Human Resources function and partnering with CEOs to develop strategic and operational plans that solve critical business challenges and deliver results. With more than 25 years in leadership roles across multiple technology companies and diverse industries, Julie has a proven track record for creating talent and culture practices that result in remarkable employee experiences that enable people to thrive in an increasingly

digital age.


In her roles as SVP of Human Resources and Chief People Officer (CPO) for both large and mid-size public companies, Julie has played a key leadership role in addressing strategic business challenges that include transformations, scale, international expansion, growth, mergers and acquisitions, integrations and supporting a company through an initial public offering (IPO).


Julie is a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams, providing strategic counsel on cultural transformation, talent & organizational strategies, mergers and acquisitions, total rewards, talent development programs, succession and transition plans to accelerate growth and transformation. She is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion and understands the criticality of having diverse and

inclusive culture to attract and retain great people and drive stronger business results. She has led Social Impact strategies and Crisis Response plans such as the recent global implications of COVID-19.


Julie is consistently engaged in the “future of work,” participating in consortiums, and as a speaker, leading progressive new workforces’ strategies and advising organizations on reimagining new flexible people and organizational practices. Julie has earned a reputation as a catalyst for change, collaborator and coach.


Most recently, Julie held the position of Vice President Human Resources at Western Digital, partnering with the President and COO. Prior to Western Digital, Julie was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Inphi, a publicly held company where she was responsible for the People & Culture function. Prior to Inphi she was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources of Sony Interactive

Entertainment of America where she led the company’s “Best Place to Play” culture, developed organizational capabilities and integrated two Sony entities. Prior to Sony she held senior leadership roles for both Fortune 500 and fast-paced, high-growth technology companies, including CHC, Aon Consulting, Advanced Micro Devices, ATI Technologies, PeopleSoft and AT&T/NCR.


Julie currently sits on the board of the Human Resources Strategic Forum, as Chair of Community Build Programs and is an advisor and coach to several early-stage companies and leaders. She is also a CTI certified Coach.


Julie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Economics from the University of Guelph in

Ontario, Canada and has completed MBA program studies at Northwestern University.
