Mabel Rius
Vice President, Human Resources Client Services
Clorox Company
Mabel Rius is currently VP of Human
Resources for The Clorox Company. In this position, she is responsible for
leading the people strategy and planning process as well as the HR operations
that include: Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management,
Diversity, HR IT and Employee Relations.
Mrs. Rius joined The Clorox Company in Argentina in 1997. She has had Human
Resources responsibilities for the Latin America Division and in March 2000 she
was transferred to Oakland, where she has held management roles in Executive
Compensation, Leadership Development, Staffing, Diversity and Relocation.
Prior to The Clorox Company, Mrs. Rius was the Human Resources Manager at
Chrysler Argentina. She also held different Human Resources roles at Burns Philp
Ltd.
Mrs. Rius holds an equivalent BS in Labor Relations from Universidad de la
Marina Mercante in Argentina and a Masters in Human Resources from Universidad
del Salvador -Argentina- and SUNY.
She lives with her husband and two children in Oakland, California. She is
active in school activities, and is a volunteer member of the Junior Achievement
Program and Girls Inc.
