Jack’s responsibilities include establishing new relationships with the Southern California business community and launching the new regional Executive MBA (EMBA) program. This innovative new MBA leverages executive coaching all through the program to support student learning and career planning.

Jack characterizes himself as a “serial starter-upper” because he has designed, implemented and managed a variety of entrepreneurial educational programs at universities and the corporate sector. As Executive Director at the California Space Authority he oversaw workforce development and legislative educational initiatives at national and state levels on behalf of the aerospace industry. Jack also founded and managed the corporate university for Northrop Grumman Corporation, named SPACE University, where he designed and implemented strategic learning metrics for organizational managers and leaders at the $34 billion global enterprise.

Other significant accomplishments include generating $20 million in annual revenue as Assistant Dean of Continuing Education at CSU Long Beach; designing and managing the Fully Employed MBA at UCI; and creating the Executive MBA at Cal State Long Beach.

Jack earned his BA from the University of Miami, his MBA from UC Irvine, and his Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University. Jack is a long-time resident of Whittier, California where he lives with his wife, Chihiro. His son, Tom, is a senior at Haverford College, Pennsylvania and is on a 7-month assignment with NASA in Washington, D.C.

Jack finds energy in the process of creating programs for working managers, entrepreneurs, and professionals that help them to create more fulfilling careers and to find greater happiness and fulfillment in their personal lives.
